Short bio

I was born in Granada in 1997. I studied Physics (2015–2020) at the University of Granada and completed an MSc in Data Science and Computer Engineering (2021), also at this university. In 2021, I joined the Applied Computational Neuroscience (ACN) group at the Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC).

My research focuses on computational neuroscience, neural engineering, bio-inspired integrated systems, and cerebellar modelling. I contribute to the study of how sensory and motor information is represented and separated in the cerebellar granular layer.

Since childhood, I have been interested in understanding the natural phenomena around us. Studying the nervous system revealed how millions of neurons can give rise to remarkably complex global behaviours; this continues to motivate my work towards understanding the human brain at every scale.
