SpikeControl, Cerebellar Spiking Model for Real-time Closed-loop Sensorimotor Control, was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship funded through Horizon 2020 (grant agreement No. 658479) from 2015 to 2017.

The project studied how the cerebellum supports adaptive motor control and coordination by embedding biologically plausible spiking neural models in closed-loop sensorimotor tasks. It combined neuromimetic modelling with embodied neurorobotics, using simulations and robotic experiments to evaluate cerebellar processing, adaptation, and the acquisition of representations of the environment and tools.

Further project information is available from the European Commission CORDIS record.
