IMOCO4.E delivered a reference platform for distributed edge-to-cloud motion-control intelligence in machines, robots, and human-in-the-loop cyber-physical systems. Its approach combines AI and digital-twin toolchains with configurable, traceable, energy-efficient, and cyber-secure building blocks.

The project verified this platform in semiconductor, packaging, industrial robotics, and healthcare applications. It received funding from the ECSEL Joint Undertaking under European Union Horizon 2020 grant agreement 101007311, running from 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2024.
